A Snapshot of Your Day As a Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d) in the new sales team for distribution transformers, you drive our common business goals with passion, dedication, creativity, and innovation, collaborating with various stakeholders inside and outside the company. You are responsible for driving sales growth in your region, focusing on developing and expanding the customer base. With your market knowledge and understanding of market trends, you contribute to the overall sales strategy and successfully implement it in your region, supported by your network and collaboration with our factories. This role requires strategic thinking, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and competitive activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Develop and execute effective sales strategies for the assigned region to achieve sales targets in collaboration with marketing, product development and other departments
- Generate opportunities, manage biding and pricing strategy with factories, lead customer negotiations, handover to factories, win/loss analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners across countries and verticals
- Coordinate agents in the region, setting business goals, and ensuring these objectives are met
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to better position our products or services and advise key accounts accordingly
- Present proposals, strategies, and progress reports effectively to stakeholders and lead training programs and workshops internally & externally
- Focus countries within your responsibility are: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in Sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and financial acumen
- Strong knowledge of distribution transformers, regional markets, and industries, including understanding of market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Ability to travel within the region as needed, proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools, and besides excellent English capabilities, further languages beneficial to communicate in the assigned region are appreciated
