About us

My client is a global multi-billion (16.7 Billion € 2022) organization within the energy sector with over 100 years of experience. They currently employ over 200.000 employees worldwide in more than 120 countries.

They hold a firm vision of sustainability, and are highly ambitious with the goal to build long-term value for its customers, shareholders, employees and for society at large - my client is now searching for an inhouse SAP FI/CO Consultant to help with their several S/4HANA migration projects this year.

Tasks

  1. Implement and maintain the SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Business Process Owners, to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

  3. Support end-to-end SAP projects, from gathering business requirements to solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post go-live support.

  4. Provide expert advice on SAP FI/CO functionalities, resolving complex issues, and supporting system customizations/upgrades/enhancements.

  5. Perform regular system audits, identifying potential risks or errors, and recommending corrective actions for increased efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

  6. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.

  7. Conduct user training sessions to educate stakeholders about SAP FI/CO processes and functionalities.

  8. Stay updated with industry trends, new features, and best practices related to SAP FI/CO.

  9. Collaborate with external consultants as required, manage vendor relationships, and lead project initiatives when necessary.

Profile

  • Extensive experience with SAP FI/CO architecture and modules.

  • Proven experience in implementation, support, and improvement of SAP FI/CO modules

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO functionalities

  • Solid understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and controlling principles

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
