Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. limited (CATL) is a global leader in innovative new energy technologies. Our business includes research and development (China), manufacturing and sales of battery systems (lithium-ion batteries) for electric vehicles and stationary energy storage systems. Our corporate headquarters are located in Ningde, China, with CATL employing more than 30,000 people worldwide.

Currently, CATL's first European production plant for lithium-ion batteries is being built at Erfurter Kreuz in Arnstadt (Thuringia), which is to become the headquarters for the whole of Europe in the future.

This is what the job entails:


  • Responsibility for the training of personnel, on-site audits, equipment qualification and production line clearance
     

  • You will lead and manage a team of several employees 
      

  • Responsibility for the integration and standardization of information to control new processes and new products
     

  • Organizing routine and special process audits to promote problem solving and continuously improve process compliance
     

  • Promote collaboration with other departments to improve production quality and customer satisfaction
     

  • Responsibility for further education and training of team colleagues 
     

  • You are the interface between the Ningde site and the Arnstadt site
     

  • Accompany the team development and you are the contact person for the technicians 

     



Your qualifications:


  • You have a completed university degree in chemistry, physics, mechanics and/or other related technical or science subjects
     

  • You have several years of work experience in the quality field (basic knowledge of semiconductor or battery production is an advantage)
     

  • You have leadership experience 
     

  • You are proficient in the common Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel
     

  • You have good communication skills
     

  • You are a team player and always work independently, reliably and on your own initiative
     

  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
