SAP PP Consultant (m/f/d)

• Configuration and Implementation: Take charge of SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), and SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like SAP MM, SD, CO to optimize end-to-end processes.

• Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance production planning, maintenance, and detailed scheduling processes, including material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, and capacity planning.

• S/4HANA Migration: Contribute to the migration of SAP PP, SAP PM, and SAP PPDS processes to S/4HANA, ensuring smooth transitions and leveraging new functionalities to drive business value.

• Customization and Troubleshooting: Provide expert advice and support on customizations for SAP PP, PM, and PPDS to meet specific business needs. Troubleshoot issues in the production planning, maintenance, and scheduling environments and ensure system stability.

• Training and Support: Deliver end-user training for SAP PP, PM, and PPDS users, ensuring teams are equipped to maximize system capabilities. Provide ongoing support post-implementation for continuous process improvement.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business teams, ensuring alignment between production planning, maintenance, and scheduling needs and technical solutions.

• Experience with SAP PP, PM, and PPDS: Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) modules. Strong understanding of MRP, production orders, maintenance planning, and detailed scheduling.

• SAP S/4HANA knowledge: Experience in transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, especially in relation to SAP PP, PM, and PPDS, is highly preferred.

• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly while ensuring continuous process improvements in production, maintenance, and scheduling.

• Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize and streamline business processes.

• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in both English and [German or other languages, if necessary], with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
