A Snapshot of Your Day 
We are currently looking for a dedicated project manager to support our global Building Solutions team. As a part of this role, your contributions will be vital in ensuring the detailed and efficient completion of our projects in particular in our project site in Cuxhaven. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a hard-working team that is committed to delivering outstanding outcomes. Your dedication and proven expertise will assist us in competing at the highest levels and successfully implementing world-class building solutions.
You will be joining a diverse international team with extensive experience in construction project management working all over the globe.
How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Managing the project team, including but not limited to designers, architects, HSE, and site project managers.
  • Proactively leading and being responsible for the project execution in accordance with timeline, costs, risks, safety, and quality.
  • Supporting the pre-construction activities of the project: scope definition, project setup and strategy, design, permitting, tendering, and construction start.
  • Managing the construction activities of the project: General Contractor contract and claim management, HSE, and handover to operations.
  • Hiring and leading the activities of several subcontractors: designer, project management company, general contractor, or built-to-suit developer.
  • Leading the interface towards the landowner or lessor, and local authorities for all permitting and construction topics.
What You Bring
  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Several years experience in project management in the context of construction projects of industrial facilities, ideally in international and multicultural corporate environments.
  • A strong understanding of the main CAPEX drivers in the design and construction of industrial facilities.
  • PM certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, or equivalent) and experience in construction contract management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ideally AutoCAD, and proficient in both verbal and written communication in German and English for business purposes.
  • Open to travel and work 3 days in Cuxhaven; generally flexible to take over global projects and travel globally.
