Your mission
In the Network Operations team, your mission is to ensure that Ionity’s stock of spareparts and consumables is being managed thoroughly.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced inventory specialist with strong understanding of logistics processes, including customs management and master data management supported by SAP ERP processes. The Logistics Specialist shall support IOINTY’s supply chain related needs to ensure spare part distribution throughout the 24 European countries where IOINTY’s HPC-Network is supporting end-customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Steer logistics processes and actively collaborate with our national and international Logistics partners
- Handle processes related to spare part logistics, return of defective parts and hardware and resolve issues related to handling of these including customs procedures
- Conduct regular stock reviews and audits and prepare for annual stock counting to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity of data and actuals
- System-wise manage and create parts in SAP and handle Intrastat requests
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures
- Review defective parts within the IONITY repair workshop
- Manage the stock of the repair workshop and set up new storage locations in SAP
- Ensure processes are being followed to provide charging infrastructure on-site for complete hardware swaps
- Participate in projects or take the lead in cross functional teams, support further development of departmental processes, conduct process reviews and analysis
- Provide updates and reports on inventory status as well as performance and maintain inventory management best practices.
Your profile
- Education: Supply Chain study or apprenticeship as merchant in wholesale and foreign trade or logistics merchant.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as wholesale and foreign trade specialist, logistics merchant or similar function in Supply chain related business.
- Strong organizational and task management abilities, with experience in prioritizing topics and handling multiple requests in parallel.
- Strong and efficient communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English.
- Familiar with ERP systems preferably SAP.
- Good Microsoft office skills in general and specifically strong skills in Excel.
- Structured way of working and ability to work independently.
- Process and KPI driven mindset with hands-on mentality finding solutions not problems.
- Based in the area of Munich.
- You have experience in inventory management and supply chain operations.
- You have knowledge of European customs regulations and respective procedures.
- You are proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory- and master data-management.
- You know how to establish and live processes to handle tasks related to logistics for spare parts, defective components as well as complete hardware.
- You are process driven and have good analytical skills for reviewing and improving processes.
- You have experience in managing stock in a repair workshop environment.
- You enjoy actively participating in projects and leading workstreams and like to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- You are able to manage multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize effectively.
- You like to communicate within a vivid team of international experts.
