System Safety Engineer (f/m/d)

For our client, a globally operating company in the aerospace industry based in Manching, we are currently filling the following position:

SYSTEM SAFETY ENGINEER (F/M/D)

• Conduct main Safety assessments activities for military aircraft and systems, supporting the phases until certification 
• Conduct Risk Analyses, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to support the continuous aircraft development 
• Conduct Common-Cause Analyses 
• Manage and generate safety requirements, safety evidences, Safety Procedures and Limitations, interface with other technical domains 
• Strong influence on aircraft/systems architecture development according to the required Safety/Integrity 
• Act as interface at the required level with internal and external stake holders 
• Review, approval and application of supplier data regarding Safety and Reliability

• Completed studies in physics, aerospace or comparable 
• Several years of professional experience in Engineering and aerospace
• Experience in System Safety Assessment or at least System Engineering with interface to Safety Assessment/Airworthiness/Certification 
• Detailed user knowledge in MS Office 
• Experience with Safety Tools, eg. Isograph FaultTree+ would be a plus 
• Negotiable level of English language skills writen and spoken 
• German knowledge is desired
