We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Planner to join our team in Newark, United States. As a Fleet Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high service levels for our customers. Monitor and track vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and future vehicle needs
Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts
Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain optimal fleet distribution
Analyze fleet performance data and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of car rental transactions
Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, repair schedules, and work orders
Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and reduce costs
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fleet management
Contribute to the development of long-term fleet planning strategies

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in the automotive or car rental industry
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer navigation
Familiarity with fleet management software preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts
Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10% of the time)
Must be at least {AGE} old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to wear a company uniform
Knowledge of automotive industry trends and regulations is a plus
