SAP Basis Consultant

Position Overview:

As the SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s SAP landscape. You will be involved in SAP Basis operations, manage system performance, and oversee technical upgrades while ensuring seamless integration across modules. Collaborating with internal teams and external service providers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving SAP system performance.

• Technical Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and migrations to S/4HANA and other SAP solutions.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize SAP infrastructure.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure SAP security, authorization management, and compliance with IT standards and regulations.

• Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional teams, IT infrastructure, and external service providers to ensure seamless system integration.

• User Support & Documentation: Provide expert-level support to internal users and document best practices for system maintenance.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, Administrator, or Lead, preferably in the automotive industry.

• S/4HANA Knowledge: Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations, cloud platforms, and hybrid SAP environments is a plus.

• Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of SAP security, authorization management, and IT compliance regulations.

• Project Management Skills: Ability to lead technical projects, manage stakeholders, and drive SAP system improvements.

• Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Language Requirements: Minimum B2-level German and fluent English.
