Your responsibilities:

  • International business development and promotion of successful application examples for assigned industries, products, and strategic partners
  • Providing expertise in assigned customer industries, partner portfolios and technology trends, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Management and coordination of cross-divisional projects and follow up on industry related aspects with assigned producer partners
  • Implementation and support of industry strategies, driving external and internal actions with stakeholders
  • Being a key point of contact for commercial and technical inquiries for defined key projects
  • Supporting the design and implementation of marketing campaigns with short- and mid-term action plans and KPIs, aligned with sales targets and overarching marketing strategies
  • Alignment with strategic partners on industry related topics and latest trends
  • Intensive collaboration with colleagues from e.g. Product Management, Sales, TSAD, and Industry Management
  • Facilitating product and supplier-specific training and coordinating promotion activities across all involved parties
  • Frequent travel required

Your profile:

  • Experienced business developer, with relevant technical and commercial business acumen
  • Several years of experience in the chemical industry, preferably in engineering polymers/plastic compounding and/or distribution with the according contacts network
  • Degree in Engineering and/or several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Fluent in business English, additional languages are an advantage
  • Work location can be (a mix of) home office or in one of our European offices – preference is a location in Eastern / Central Europe
  • Combination of self-starter and team player
  • Self-confident, technically skilled demeanor
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to abstract complex concepts
  • Convincing and assertive character
