As an R&D Project Manager, your day will be filled with engaging stakeholders, defining large gas turbine development project scopes, and leading cross-functional global teams towards successful execution. You'll be responsible for project governance, managing budgets, scheduling reviews, and ensuring effective communication across the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the delivery and execution of strategic projects to protect, grow, and de-carbonise our LGT Gas Turbine Products
- Collaborate with Product Owners to scope requirements and gather cross-functional global teams for project execution
- Ensure safe and effective introduction of innovative solutions into our products byfollowing quality standards
- Contribute to the development of LGT products as a member of the Project Managementteam.
What You Bring
- Agile Project Management with several years of experience, certifications (AGILE, SCRUM, RDPM@Siemens (C/B-level preferred) or IPMA or comparable), and risk management knowledge
- Strong ownership, leadership, and self-motivation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, exceptional time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Master's degree in engineering (preferred) or relevant experience in gas turbine design, basic understanding of gas turbines, their components, design, and operation
- Interest and enjoyment in a trust-based network, open and clear communication, diplomatic skills, high self-motivation, perseverance, and flexibility, respect, fairness, empathy, and instinct
- Creativity, willingness to innovate and negotiation skills, entrepreneurial understanding, conscientious work combined with pragmatism and a "hands-on" mentality
- Business fluent in German and English, proficient with MS Office Suite, capable of generating presentations and using IT solutions

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
