A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Program Manager for Digital Manufacturing at Siemens Energy you will lead the digital transformation of our manufacturing processes into a network of Smart Factories. Your day will start with strategic meetings to align with key stakeholders on project priorities and progress. You will oversee the implementation of our Digitalization Framework, ensuring that data is captured, connected and transformed into actionable insights and predictive models.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and factories to integrate new digital solutions, troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless system performance. Regular reporting on project progress and KPIs will ensure transparency and alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating corporate standards and regulations related to digitalization in manufacturing. By the end of the day, you will have advanced our manufacturing digitalization journey, keeping Siemens Energy at the forefront of innovation and efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the implementation of our Digitalization Framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategy
- Define project scope, create schedules and manage the rollout across our factories as well as establish project frameworks, milestone planning and reporting mechanisms
- Manage and prioritize requirements and expectations of key business stakeholders, fostering strong relationships
- Resolve escalations and ensure smooth project execution, escalating unsolved issues when necessary
- Deliver on project scope and budget and report on overall program KPIs, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of Siemens Energy
- Directly impact the efficiency and innovation of our manufacturing digitalization journey and support the organization of cross-departmental knowledge exchange events
- Develop, maintain and update corporate standards and regulations related to digitalization in manufacturing, ensuring compliance and best practices across all Siemens Energy
- Contribute to change management concepts for successful implementation of organizational changes
What You Bring
- Completed degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field
- Proven experience in leading global and cross-functional teams as well as demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and guide teams to success
- Understanding and experience with digital transformation initiatives, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Factory Digital Twin Simulation (FDTS) and Analytic process Automation (APA). Experience with “Extract, Transform, Load” (ETL) tools and low-code (preferentially Mendix)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Excellent communication abilities, adept at fostering an inclusive environment and promoting professional growth within the team
- Willingness to travel globally to visit factories and organize workshops within a large, complex and global network of factories
- Business fluent in German and English, and additional languages would be an advantage
