WHAT TO EXPECT
The team for the analysis of Platform Software examines errors, which occur during the execution of system- and component tests for ADAS applications. With your work, you acquire a deep understanding of communication between ECUs in the car. Using this in depth knowledge and by performing analysis on code-level, you can recognize complex error patterns, propose bug fixes and, through the close cooperation with our project partners, get a detailed insight into the development of modern automotive software, as well as the workflow of software-engineers at our customers. We offer a hybrid work model with flexible office or home-office days.
YOUR TASKS
- Analysis of abnormalities in the communication between driver-assistance ECUs, mainly over Ethernet (TCP/DLT/XCP), FlexRay and CAN
- Examination of errors which lead to crashes of single software-modules or of the whole ECU, for example by analyzing Coredumps
- Analysis of errors in relation to vehicle-diagnosis (Flash, UDS, DTCs)
- Solid familiarization with the C++ Code to be able to perform detailed code-analysis
- Technical knowledge transfer as well as working on solutions together with project partners
- Validation of bug fixes for previously analysed errors
- Performing Debug-Sessions with stakeholders

- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, engineering or comparable experience
- B2 level in English or higher
