Your daily pitch

The HR Business Partner will join the HR Team to collaborate with the stakeholders across the Product and Technology Service Unit in all the various aspects of employee relations and people management. We put emphasis on close relationships with people managers, on understanding the business direction and needs, on coaching and mentoring towards the best approach. ​

Your playing field

  • You will collaborate closely with the Lead HR Business Partner, HR Team, and leadership team to deliver and implement People and Organisation strategy across Tipico.
  • You build strong partnerships with people managers to execute HR strategies, policies, and practices with a solution-focused mindset and promote our Tipico leadership standards and our core values.
  • You manage employee relations cases, supporting managers and employees to mitigate risk for the business and ensure that best-practice HR is being adopted. 
  • You support and coach management and leadership in resolving people matters and in applying talent management, L&D, and rewards tools for effective management, engagement, and retention of employees.​
  • You love data - Support proactively driving high-quality of employee data and analytics to ensure valuable input for business decisions. 
  • You contribute directly to your pillar recruitment initiatives, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the right talent is hired in a timely manner. 
  • You will lead and contribute to projects within the HR Roadmap to continuously add value to the business.
  • You have a hands-on mentality - Support the HR department with any administrative matters as and when required.

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

  • Work Experience. 3+ years experience within an HR Business Partner role, HR Generalist, or within a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree. In Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Industry experience. To be successful in this role, prior experience in a fast-paced and multinational environment within industries, such as Tech, Online, or iGaming, is preferred.
  • Hard-skilled. Advanced knowledge and understanding of HR systems, employee data standards and analytics are a must. Any HR project-related work experience is a plus.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills. To support managers to develop towards people management excellence, as this is one of Tipico’s main focuses.
  • Languages. Our #oneteam consists of more than 40 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission. English is the way we communicate within the company– German proficiency is nice to have to build up relationships and work with stakeholders, however, it is not essential.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Working under pressure and dealing with uncertainty and fast-changing circumstances, taking appropriate actions.
  • Self-driven. Approaching work proactively.
  • Strong communicator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – You know how to manage and negotiate with stakeholders and partners.
  • Cultural awareness. Not only understand but also strive in a diverse and international environment.
