For our client Airbus, based in Manching we are currently filling the following position:

TORNADO PROGRAM CERTIFICATION ENGINEER (M/F/D)

• Developing and performing the airworthiness function for Airbus Defence and Space air systems products, including certification, continued airworthiness and airworthiness technical instructions
• Generation of manuals and instructions for continued airworthiness subject to airworthiness Authority approval
• Ensuring airworthiness approval of instructions for continuing airworthiness and operational suitability data
• Establishing the type certification basis and type design definition
• Establish type certification basis, develop compliance programs, release airworthiness documentation to NMAA, and lead certification projects to meet objectives
• Manage continued airworthiness activities, including risk assessments, action plans, certification of inspections/service bulletins, and development of airworthiness directives, while advising engineering teams on certification issues

• Successfully completed studies in the field of physics or aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Minimum 3 years of aerospace work experience, ideally 18+ months in airworthiness
• Knowledge of aviation law and certification regulations, particularly military
• Previous interaction with certification authorities or large customer networks is a plus
• Google Suite experience is required
• English language is required, German language skills are desirable
• High level of motivation
• Willingness to work in an international team
