In order to strengthen our Finance Team in Eppelheim, we are looking for: Senior Manager Supply Chain Finance

As the Senior Manager Supply Chain Finance, you will be reporting to a global function that drives financial strategy and performance across Capri Sun Group’s supply chain. This pivotal role is dedicated to Site Performance Management, Total Delivered Cost (TDC), and Capital Investments at our largest manufacturing site in Eppelheim, aligning with group objectives while holding the local entity to highest standards of operational excellence.

You will act as a key finance business partner, providing leadership and insights to both local and global supply chain teams. Your responsibilities include establishing rigorous operational and financial performance metrics to ensure cost control over production, direct materials, and logistics. The role supports the supply chain leadership team by driving the identification of productivity enhancements and working capital optimization initiatives, while also ensuring ROI maximization for capital projects. It takes ownership of orchestrating local planning and financial forecasting activities, ensuring these align with group objectives and feed accurately into the Group Planning framework. Additionally, you will also be responsible for delivering site’s standard cost rates to commercial, enabling the development of effective pricing strategies during annual planning and forecasting cycles.

Over time, it will contribute to the establishment of a Center of Excellence (COE), serving as a key enabler for implementing and standardizing manufacturing controlling systems and processes across Capri Sun Group, while maintaining alignment with the strategic direction provided by the Head of Group Supply Chain Finance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Finance Leadership and Business Partnering

  • Provide finance partnership to local Supply Chain teams
  • Lead the local Supply Chain Finance team consisting of 3 controllers, focusing on performance and development
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to identify and drive productivity initiatives and working capital improvement programs

Performance Measurement and Controlling

  • Develop annual plans for COGS, Capex, and working capital with robust variance analysis and rolling forecasts
  • Track supply chain performance using scorecards and provide actionable recommendations
  • Maximize ROI for capital projects. Control actual capex spend vs. approved budget
  • Control and support optimization of both standard and non-standard costs through effective interdepartmental synergies

Financial Reporting

  • Assure accurate booking of provisions, accrual releases, and inventory revaluations
  • Reconcile site supply chain financial results vs. group consolidated P&L, ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Support intercompany pricing, and markup updates and align production entity margins with target goals

Enhancing Supply Chain Finance systems and processes

  • Enhance systems and processes to improve data quality, analytics, and reporting capabilities, leveraging technical expertise and SAP CoPA to ensure alignment with the overall Group framework while addressing the specific needs of the local production site

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, preferably at a multinational FMCG
  • Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing, procurement, and logistics control, with strong knowledge of standard costing, inter-company transfer pricing, and cross charges
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements to achieve cost savings and conducting financial evaluations to develop robust business cases for capital investments. Strong communication skills and project management experience
  • Finance leadership with the ability to challenge the status quo and influence decision-making of senior management
  • Strong capability in cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization and leadership in people management, including resolving performance issues and fostering talent development
  • Possesses an agile mindset, comfortable with a highly dynamic environment.
  • A Master’s degree and preferably with relevant certifications such as Six Sigma
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and German
  • Strong technical affinity with SAP (CO, PCA) and MS Office skills
  • A highly motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude
