SAP Basis Consultant

We are an internationally operating group with approximately 5,700 employees working across our central office and various subsidiary locations domestically and abroad. At our primary facility near Cologne, we manufacture a diverse range of products, including beverage mixes, nutritional supplements, and specialized preparations, with a team of over 1,400 employees.

• You manage and maintain enterprise resource planning systems running on SUSE Linux and Microsoft Windows Server platforms.

• You oversee the setup and administration of advanced software applications, including modern and legacy systems based on high-performance databases.

• Your responsibilities include comprehensive database management, such as planning and executing backups and restorations.

• You facilitate the integration of external systems through the development and management of interfaces.

• You perform system duplication processes and support updates and upgrades using advanced maintenance tools.

• You monitor system operations, diagnose issues, and implement performance enhancements.

• You deploy and manage system management tools, leveraging their broad functionality to meet organizational needs.

• Additionally, you contribute to both national and international initiatives, including large-scale system deployments.

• You hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field, or have completed equivalent vocational training or acquired comparable qualifications.

• You possess strong expertise in managing high-performance databases.

• You have extensive experience in the setup, administration, and maintenance of advanced enterprise resource planning systems.

• You bring proven experience in system migrations, updates, and upgrades.

• Your analytical abilities and monitoring expertise enable you to effectively diagnose issues and enhance system performance.

• You work independently with a solution-oriented and responsible approach.

• Your strong communication and collaboration skills make you an integral part of any team.
