Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Excellent management. Communications within the team are structured extremely effectively. Team meetings, team days, and work off-sites are all facilitated to ensure that employees truly get to know each other, despite the remote setup. Management tailors their leadership style to each employee based on their personality. More importantly, they are always open to feedback on improving the mutual collaboration and communication.

As a working student, expect many opportunities for learning. You'll gain significant knowledge about project management, HR, digital tools, and also marketing and knowledge management.

The company's leadership values open and transparent communication, and genuinely cares about your well-being. During a challenging time in my personal life, they not only allowed but also encouraged me to take time off. If I ever felt unwell, they would suggest I reduce my working hours and prioritise my health. This is rather unusual in the sector, and I believe that their dedication to employees' wellbeing is what makes the company so successful. Hence, Julia Reis Consulting is ideal for those seeking more than just a job – it's a "working family" with a profound sense of unity.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

As the company's values indicate, there's a commitment to delivering high-quality contributions to its clients and the broader network. Thus, employees are expected to be very detail-oriented and adhere strictly to content and format guidelines. Critical feedback is often given when expectations aren't met. So, I'd recommend considering a position here only if you align with these values and are open to occasionally receiving negative feedback on your work.

Interessante Aufgaben

As a lot of the clients are German speakers, non-German speakers will miss out on a variety of tasks and client project opportunities, which are also critical learning opportunities.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

My manager was highly committed to environmental and social sustainability, and this is reflected in a lot of their working practices and team events.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

German speaking employees will find it easier to pursue a career after their studies within the company.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this detailed review!
I am very happy to hear about your feedback on what it's like to work with us.

I just wanted to add some additional comments on two aspects:
- while I agree that it's part of my leadership style to genuinely care about each team member and their development (following the "radical candour" approach in its real sense), I would not describe us as a "working family" but rather as a real team bonded by trust and respect. See this (https://ideas.ted.com/why-a-company-is-not-a-family-and-how-companies-can-bond-with-their-employees-instead/) for some of the reasons of my thinking.
- Regarding the "negative feedback" part, I just wanted to clarify that it is true that I give a lot of feedback (both positive and "negative") but that the "negative" one always aims to be constructive. Not criticizing team members for "bad work" but pointing out ways to improve next team as I truly believe that in this way we can get a bit better every day as a team.
