Great place to learn and follow full design process. Responsibilities are clearly defined and you can focus on your part
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Modern tools and technology. Providing all competence in the design process.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Not bringing employees together. Assigning them to external projects and almost "forgetting" about them.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
FOcus more on hiring process, so you will hire people that really fits the environment, projects and company culture. Be transparent form beginning about the work and projects.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Employees are distributed across different projects and locations so you need to be more pro-active if you want to get know people.
Kommunikation
Leadership was providing different ways of internal-communications so you always could be up to date.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Company was growing super fast and as a result, not all people that were hired were fitting good in my opinion to the company culture.
Work-Life-Balance
I had a few very stressful periods, when I was doing some over hours. But it was my decision to do it, I never was asked by anyone.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
My impression is that back in days management was busy with other things, not with employees. So on one hand everything was smooth but if you wanted to develop yourself you had to do it by yourself, there was no support from your team lead. I hope that it has changed.
Interessante Aufgaben
Well... you are working for insurance, and for big old corporation... so most of the projects are not exciting. The exciting part is to find a way to do anything in this environment. It was difficult to get an innovative project, usually only colleagues that were close to management were getting them.
Gleichberechtigung
Inside KXL everything was nice, but it was more problematic and challenging when you were working in projects for Allianz. They not used to international colleagues, or they were driven by stereotypes.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary was good, but it was difficult to get pay rise due to lack of processes.

It looks like "designer dream" company ;)
Karriere/Weiterbildung
When I was working there, it was unfortunately not working well. Management was assigning people rather randomly to projects, only because there was a need for "any designer". It was difficult to be moved to other project if you were asking for it.
