Sad but true: LOVOO is a burnt out star in a downwards spiral
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The breakfast is nice but also nothing out of the ordinary. Company events used to be fun but who knows if they will be continued in the future.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
LOVOO has clearly lost its course and isn't what it used to be.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Develop a REAL vision and mission for the future and try to, at least, keep a bare minimum of dignity within this group structure. And treat your employees better (there used to be times when this was the case) or otherwise you'll be left with nothing.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It's basically always the same people that get praised and rewarded. The fun and spirit of the "old LOVOO" is gone for good.
Kommunikation
There used to be regular updates and townhall meetings but it's getting less frequent and information is mostly meaningless.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
There used to be very strong bonds within teams but also across. Since a lot of (good) people have left and the number of company events has decreased dramatically, this is not the case anymore.

You're not gonna have a burnout if you do it right.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
After quite a few management changes in a short time, leadership isn't what it used to be. It rubs off on lower levels and damages the working environment as well as progress.
Interessante Aufgaben
If you're lucky, you'll get to work on something interesting. But since the courage and bravery of the old days is mostly gone, it's probably not gonna happen.
Gleichberechtigung
The new management team is male / straight / white and has no interest in diversifying the top. Also on the level below there are hardly any women or diverse people. Also there is a blind eye to sexist behavior.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are hardly any and the ones that are there, are not really visible.
Arbeitsbedingungen
In a lot of cases, the hardware isn't up-to-date. The offices don't get used as much as they used to and you can see that. Things like decorations and interior design are mostly outdated or display a lack of taste.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Over the past two years, the company has tried very hard to label itself green but the efforts are oftentimes short lived, actionist and/or serving only PR purposes.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
One of the things people complain about the most and rightfully so: wages are not competitive anymore and are also not keeping up with inflation at all. In fact, you're losing money if you don't belong to the small circle of employees who get (small) raises.

This is a tough one. It's really hard to get into the development process - and even if you do, it's very possible that you're only getting promises, and are kept waiting for months or you are offered a promotion with little to no raise at all.
