all the benefits, perfect work-life- balance, nice people from around the globe, huge opportunity to develop personally.

Lack of leadership makes people unhappy. Motivated and skilled individuals are burned for nothing and leave.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

less buzzwording from management and clear communication to employees, open mindset of management for a change in product development and business decisions.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Management does not lead, everyone is always free to do whatever they want. A lot of buzz wording but no real actions behind it. Management does not trust employees and discredits them. I saw a few people crying.

Kommunikation

there are regular meetings on alignment and company situations. However with always the same messages. Open questions are unfortunately never or very very weak answered. Team is organised by "you can organise yourself" mentality.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

a lot of talks behind the back across all hierarchies, open and objective discussions are very rarly. defenitely not a good place if you are looking for a cool team spirit with a fast pace on product development. individuals are nice people though.

Work-Life-Balance

lots of benefits like working from home, even before Corona, sport events, language classes, company dinner, presents for easter and christmas, company lunches and activities.... Vacation is totally free to choose and it is up to your motivation to have a 9-5 job or invest more time

Vorgesetztenverhalten

the steering of the company is based on feelings of the management. I never saw facts, numbers or figures when it comes to strategic company decisions. The teams are totally free to set their own work goals, which is cool being an employee, but does not make the product develop at all.

Interessante Aufgaben

you can choose your work topics nearly totally free. as long as you bring results that make management somehow happy you have all freedom.

I never felt any differences.

Arbeitsbedingungen

top equipment, unlimited access to any kind of tools. one big room for everyone and some smaller meeting boxes available. Corona rules are set up but are not really followed though.

no actions taken torwards sustainability as far as I know

over average salary I would say plus bonus plus loads of benefits

a lot of people are unhappy. there is a great fluctuation rate.

everyone has a 2000€ budget on personal development each year. the criterias are very low and nearly everything can be choosen.

Thank you for the feedback. It makes me sad to hear, that our great open company culture can be interpreted so negatively. Matmatch is a start up with a speak up mentality, the management team always takes into account what individual experts have to say and is open for improvement suggestions. We are on an exciting journey where individuals can bring in own knowledge and experiences and at the same time learn a lot!
Furthermore it is part of our values to let people define their own goals within a clear framework and let them decide on the actions they want to take in order to contribute to the company’s success. This is something we are proud of and see as a benefit of working for Matmatch.
