Kommunikation
One of the things I really enjoyed during my time at ox8 was the communication at the Company. The communication between the colleagues is always very open and friendly. Feedback is direct and constructive - the colleagues want you to learn and improve, so you are always well-guided. The open space environment ensures that you are up to date and know what is going on with the current deal that you are working on.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The relationships between collegues at ox8 are very good - everyone is supporting and looking after each other and is always willing to help if you are struggling with a particular task. Outside of work, colleagues often organize after-work events - dinners with drinks in the city, tennis matches, handball games, etc.. Moreover, ox8 organizes a company-wide offsite every year. Last year, ox8 took everyone on a 3 day trip to Antalya (Turkey), which was super fun.
Work-Life-Balance
Anyone who steps into the world of M&A knows that the hours can sometimes become a challenge. Speaking from personal experience, I must say that ox8 is an exception to this. At ox8 there is a very clear "no face time" policy, which is followed by everyone: once the work is done for the day you go home. Unlike at some larger BB Banks, your free time is always respected at ox8 - no work on the weekends and no late hours in the night. In case you have a private appointment - you can talk to the colleagues and arrange a home office day.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Juniors are treated very well at ox8. The tasks and timelines are very realistic. Before you start a certain task, your colleagues explain to you exactly what needs to be done, so you never feel like you are "thrown into the cold water" at ox8.
Interessante Aufgaben
ox8 is a relatively small M&A boutique - hence you get the privilege of being exposed to the entire M&A process from start to finish - which is great for learning. Even as a junior you get to work on a large range of tasks - from developing the process documentation (Info Memo, Business Plan, Teaser) to participating in due diligence management, up to helping out with some tasks on the final purchase agreement. The colleagues ensure that you learn different skills and include you in as many different tasks as possible. This makes every day at work different, and interesting. My favorite part is still the closing dinners ;)

Very nice office with a great view of the Skyline in a good location in Frankfurt, which is well connected both by public transport and by car.
