SumUp
Bewertung

Used to be a great place to work at. Now it's just random projects and keeping up appearances.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Relaxed atmosphere. The employees are all really nice and like to help each other. There are fun events to get together.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Making employees not feel valued,
Lack of transparency,
Toxic positivity,
Lack or long term vision within teams,
Huge company parties right after or before massive layoffs

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Feedback should be taken seriously and direct managers should get it too. Leadership really needs training!

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Transparency and trust are often preached but what’s being said and done don’t match at all. Because of this, the atmosphere created is hardly one of safety.

Kommunikation

While there are plenty of company meetings to share project updates and profit results (à-la cool startup) the contents are often shallow and irrelevant to most employees.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

It all depends on you. Managers don’t do much to foster collaboration with colleagues on projects.

Work-Life-Balance

Despite the chaos of random projects for no good reason, work life balance is overall quite good.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Out of the 3 managers I’ve had, only 1 was trustworthy and made me feel valued and listened too. The others were shady as can be, never praised us and made it extremely difficult to get a raise or promotion.

Interessante Aufgaben

You mostly have no say in your tasks and they’re quite repetitive. There are occasionally interesting tasks, but most of the time these are never completed. Cross collaboration is often impossible.

Gleichberechtigung

From personal experience, I haven’t noticed much inequality. 2 out of 3 of my managers were female, but 1 was male and often took opinions from my male colleagues more seriously.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Long serving employees aren’t particularly valued or promoted

Arbeitsbedingungen

Here the company is really investing and the office is really cool and makes it a fun place to work in and to spend evenings at (in-house gym, in-house yoga classes, meditation room, videogame area, ping pong area, huge fridges with beer and wine, amazing rooftop)

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The company does speaks about these issues, but little action is taken. It mostly feels like it’s done so that they can show off on LinkedIn.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Thank god there’s a work council in place now so things might get better, especially for new hires. Last week the work council shared the salary ranges for each department as decided by top management which are more than 10% of what employees are actually paid.

Image

Most of my colleagues complain about the company as much as I do and are staying mostly because of how difficult and stressful it is to find another job at the moment.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

The company does offer a good training budget for personal development courses, but it’s not always easy to access it as it needs to be justified thoroughly. In the past I’ve benefited from career advancements within the company, but things are quite frozen nowadays due to budget costs.
