Worst of both worlds: The company wants to be taken seriously (on the stock market), has a corporate investment banking kind of thinking, on the other hand it somehow would like to stay and behave and think like a start up forever. This can not work.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

(1) Hire team leads who have not just graduated from high school; (2) remove the politics; (3) value and appreciate your employees with regular raises and functioning and continuous performance reviews.

Kommunikation

"Good cop bad cop": The CEOs try to be as transparent as they can be (some contents can of course not be shared with all employees). Some of the team leads, however, take some strange decisions that they either don't communicate, don't communicate honestly, or communicate belated. In the end, functioning (on time) internal communication is key.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Despite the small & young team, no hands on mentality from most.

Work-Life-Balance

"Good cop bad cop" again: depending on your team lead, you will be allowed and trusted to work remotely from anywhere.
Over hours (late calls and requests but no compensation) are common.
Some employees don't dare to end their work day timely in the rare cases they're "running out of work", as they fear negative comments/perception from colleagues.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Stressed atmosphere. Out of only a handful of team leads, only two to three are capable of fulfilling their role. Most team leads have no structure, no trust, and are micromanagers.

Interessante Aufgaben

Sadly, intelligent and eager employees (besides the ones that were hired for the investment team) waste their life there.
Finance master students, for example, will be forced to sort the mail.

Gleichberechtigung

One point where there is nothing to complain about.

There are none, average age approximately 24.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Open work space with the usual problems. No phone boxes available and the meeting rooms are constantly in use, so the noise level can be high when phone calls need to be done at people's desks. And still, employees will not be provided with headphones with noise cancelling or Airpods. Also the few height adjustable desks are constantly occupied.
On the other hand: Benevolent CEOs offering healthy snacks, weekly employee breakfast, incredible coffee machine and amazing company events.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

No trash separation, lighting will be left on after leaving a meeting room, dozens of Amazon online orders every week.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Feels more like pain money.

Otherwise no further social benefits.

Pretty on the outside: Never thought this place would be such a mess.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Not that I would be aware of. Also almost no people you could learn from because most of them have no experience/expertise they could share.
