Vendavo is a very international company with colleagues across Europe and the US. Especially during Corona (but also before) there is a high level of collaboration remotely. While having your colleagues in the Dusseldorf office, when talking about the team we typically refer to the full EMEA consultancy team. Vendavo organizes multiple get-togethers within a year to ensure team alignment and collaboration
Work-Life-Balance
Working in a delivery organisation, this is not a job where you clock in at 9 and standard clock out at 5. Typical workweek is around 38-45 hours, with peaks around software go-live dates.
Normal working hours for most people are from 9 to 5, however as an employee you are very flexible with moving hours around. If you want to go to the dentist, that is no problem. Evenmore, if you want to take a run in the middle of the day, no problem. If you decide to leave early on Friday and take some hours on Saturday, no problem.

Great professionals with passion for their work. While the company is on paper quite hierarchical, there is really an open door policy to every layer in the organisation. Furthermore, within Vendavo managers give a lot of responsibility and guidance to the employees; not acting as micro-managers but support lines for my personal growth.

Working with the largest multinationals in the world. Implementing a pricing solution typically has c-suite attention because it influences the bottom-line of the organisation. As an employee, we receive high level of responsibility allowing us to put our mark on the project
Gleichberechtigung
Very international company with people working here from all backgrounds were everyone is treated the same. Programs are ran as well focusing on getting more women in IT
Improvements would be to communicate these initiatives more often and have clearer policies (for example: dad leave when having children etc). All is possible and taken care of, but not always clear from the start.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Good office in city center with always a full fridge. Laptops are the latest and greatest with 4K screens in the office. I am also using the newest Iphone
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Allowing us 2 days per year to do non-profit work for a charity outside of the organisation. Furthermore, Vendavo itself organizes multiple "green" events per year, like "cleaning" the park or raising money for charity.
While serving internationals, employees do make quite some flights per year.

Lot of development happens as "on the job development". Lots of responsibility is given quickly that allows you to excel your career growth.
Development in the form of training typically happens each quarter. Additional training is supported. However, everyone is responsible for their own development. Learning paths are typically accelerated when development is requested by individuals, since Vendavo does not have clear out of the box development programs.
