Toxic company, lead by inexperienced managers with massive egos who protect each other
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Lots of tension, people are quiet and don't dare to speak up as being laid off goes super fast.
Kommunikation
There is lots of talk, but mostly motivational speeches and self-praising. Little that helps you understand the strategy, bigger picture and why certain decisions are made - both on department and company level.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Colleagues stick together, but it's more like "we're in this mess together, so let's try to make it through the day".
Work-Life-Balance
Depends on the department. Some are ok with lots of freedom, others are working late and weekends. Certainly not equally distributed and adequatly compensated for the latter.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Most of them are killing you with a smile - encouraging words that are followed by intransparent and backstabbing decisions.
But there are exceptions too.
Interessante Aufgaben
If you are in the right department, you will learn a lot. But it mostly means: you learn it yourself, nobody is going to teach you anything - so it's mostly exposure to the topics.
Gleichberechtigung
Seems fairly distributed from my perspective
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Average age seems to be somewhere around 25-28, so there aren't many old people in IT, mostly in administration. There are few overlaps, but there it seems to be ok.
Arbeitsbedingungen
We don't get top notch hardware as promised. Even thoughyou can choose between iOD and windows, the laptops are nothing fancy, but they do their job.
You need to like open space offices, bring your own noise cancelling headsets as you'll only get standard gear.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Hard to judge, trash is being separated
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Market standard, company chooses to place itself in the middle of comparable payment bands, only high valuable areas and positions are getting paid a premium.
Other social features feel more like a poor attempt rather than an honest employee retention offer.
Image
Marketing campaigns try to improve the image, but on the job market the company is still well known as the people burner with intransparent layoffs.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Hard split between career opportunities and education offering needed here.
New all-you-can-learn online course offering is great, doesn't help your inhouse career though
