Took 2 weeks for the first meeting.
Then every meeting was either moved or canceled less than an hour before it was supposed to happen. This was a pattern over months of trying to make it work.
Every bit of information had to be pulled out of the recruiter and even then was very limited and unclear.
Overall the process seemed very intransparent and questionable that this position actually was a priority for the business.
If it's not a fit, tell the candiate it's not a fit. No harm done. Drag the process out for months and you damage the reputation of your company long term.
Impressive example of turning excitement for a role into disappointment in a company through a subpar candidate experience.

I can not come up with any improvement. The process was nice and smooth.
Not much to improve, the interviews with the potential colleagues/stakeholders could be longer, that's it.
Since I interviewed a lot in the past for several operation functions in SaaS business, I highly recommend to add an additional reference checking layer in the interview process. By that I mean that it would be beneficial to talk with a former colleague and/or boss and get feedback from them.
Eventuell wäre es noch spannend gewesen, beim Kennenlernen des Teams auch die Gründer kennenzulernen. Ansonsten können sich andere Unternehmen viel von dem Prozess abschauen: Der Bewerbungsprozess war extrem strukturiert, man wusste immer was mit wem als nächstes kommt und alle Stakeholder mit denen man in Kontakt ist, sind sehr wertschätzend. Zudem gibt der Bewerbungsprozess wirklich gute Einblicke, wie es bei einer Einstellung im Unternehmen sein wird, welche Kultur gelebt wird usw…
It took them 2 weeks to contact me (well actually giving any info about my application) then another one untill the interview, then another 2 weeks until I heard from them again. It was stressed during the interview that they value employees who are fast and detailed, and someone in this role has to be quick and focused. Yet it took them so much time for the simple first round and they misspelled my name and had typos in the correspondence emails. :) The contact said that the first interview is going to take about 20-30min, but it lasted almost 80min!
Some questions were related for the position. However there were some borderline netflix series such as - what would I do if a drunk colleague approached me at the company party and asked me about the company's salary plan (and I hypothetically drank as well at the party). There are definitelly better questions to assess someone's discretion, loyalty and professionalism. Also, not projecting the best picture of the company with this. Perhaps the interviewer was not prepared or had no experience in interviewing.
