A start-up with a lot of investment but lost in spiral of bad decisions and poor or rather non existent leadership.

Once upon a time at least colleagues were the enjoyable part of the work, but the atmosphere is ruined by the mess created throughout poor management. No structure, no boundaries of someone’s responsibility, family members are randomly involving themselves in decisions and in work of professional.

Top down, down top, it is hard to describe what is worse.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Despite the pressure people are willing to help each other out. However, some will point a finger and throw anybody under the bus to save themselves.
Work-Life-Balance
Doesn’t exist. Simple as that. Home office is almost impossible to get. If you get it, you still might be fired for it. There were times where we were “politely” asked to not go on longer vacations. It’s expected from everyone to get stay late as possible in the office as this is a parameter of dedication. CEO and COO often make rounds around the office to inspect. Also, CEO sends emails over the weekend.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
You don’t need experience or expertise in order to be in a managerial position.
Mistrust is real and decisions are made against professional recommendations just to keep alive the vision.
Interessante Aufgaben
We are just pushed to deliver as fast as possible. Some tasks or even projects are shut down due to changes of decisions or mood.

Depends whom you ask and depends who you are.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Some are great and offer their expertise and knowledge. Some, on the other hand, mostly the one that came through friendship are outdated with their mindset, way of working and way of communicating.
Arbeitsbedingungen
It can be very loud and distracting in the office, chairs are ok but air conditioning is not. Equipment is good but we are not equally equipped. We need to clap or shout slogans during all employee meetings. This made me feel very uncomfortable.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Recycling is promoted. Sustainable development of the company or products is overlooked.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Depends who you are. Friends and family are having the best time of their life. Some people get bonuses for which there is no clear scheme or rules, unfortunately sometimes on the merit of the others. Salary it’s not based on education, experience or position or even achievements.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No defined budget, if you are lucky you might get something or more often not.
