Arbeitsatmosphäre

People were openly arguing regularly particularly across departments and were often in a bad mood.

Kommunikation

I experienced some communication behind employees backs. No clear communication structure. Decision-making process not always clear.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Was very high. Great colleagues that support each other.

Work-Life-Balance

Not too much pressure, enough free time and fair over-time compensation rules.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

In my opinion the management was quite unexperienced. Trying hard but not always successful, lacking in leadership and knowledge of how to scale a company. Hierarchies and communication structures were often ignored.

Interessante Aufgaben

It's a unique field, with interesting tasks in Big Data.

Gleichberechtigung

No efforts to advance it, but nothing that directly hinders it either. No woman in management or head-of positions though

Arbeitsbedingungen

Home-office rules were not super flexible but available. Over-time compensation is present. Nice setup and good hardware, cool office space.

No efforts were made in that regard to my knowledge

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Pay was good for the size of the company and the space it's in

Company works with Big Data movement data which has a negative image (surveillance etc.). They are privacy-aware though and the image in society is worse than it should be

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Education was partly paid for but not a lot of room to grow due to the small company size.

Regarding your raised points on Leadership and Communication we would like to state, that reaching scale in movement data business is one of our priorities, but also if you look in the competitiors landscape – no one achieved a hyper scale growth so far including us as Invenium.
Nevertheless, we see the company good on track in terms of growth pace, customer satisfaction and our financial results.

Regarding communication behaviour we are constantly working on improving transparency, communicating strategic decisions and bringing our mission and vision to life.
