Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Salaries are noticeably below average, and despite increasing responsibilities, salary negotiations are often met with resistance.

The company has undergone significant cost-cutting measures in recent years.

Work-life balance is highly dependent on the project you're assigned to. Overworking is implicitly expected.

One of the biggest challenges is the lack of genuine support. Leadership often lacks the knowledge needed to provide guidance. In many cases, leads are unable to assist with complex issues, leaving team members to figure things out on their own.

There is a noticeable gap between the projects being sold and the company's ability to deliver.
Most of the time, we implement things without even knowing if they will work.

Employees often find themselves in uncomfortable situations when customers ask about past experience such as " have you implemented this before" and the real answer is usually no

Dear colleague,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and provide some feedback.

It´s a real shame that you perceive our company like that and that you had some negative experiences in the past. As experiences differ greatly from colleague to colleague, I wanted to take the time to address some of your statements.

Support is a top priority for us, not only between colleagues but especially by leads towards their direct reports. For that we have established our Leadership Curriculum, an educational program designed to train colleagues in their first two years of their leadership role. The program equips leads with everything they need to know in order to fulfill their role as lead effectively, focusing also especially on communication, feedback, team dynamics, and support for their direct reports. Of course, since this is a two year program, it may take some time for new leads to fully immerse themselves in their new role. If you feel like you are lacking support, I suggest addressing your concerns and needs directly with your lead.

What´s also very important to us is our colleagues´ health and work-life balance, and we do certainly not expect anyone to constantly do overtime. Of course, as you mentioned, there can be project phases that are demanding and might require staying a bit longer on certain days, but for that everyone is entitled to take compensatory days or work less hours on a different day to compensate those overtime hours.

What I also want to address is your comment regarding remuneration. The majority of our colleagues receive overpayment, meaning more than what the collective bargaining agreement prescribes. To guarantee a fair remuneration for all our colleagues, the actual amount of overpayment depends on each colleague´s performance and their contribution towards our company. Their performance is regularly evaluated by themselves, a selected number of their direct colleagues, as well as their lead to ensure an unbiased and fair result. If you feel that you are being treated unfairly, we suggest discussing this with your lead in your JF or in your next appraisal meeting.

We hope that we were able to clarify some things for you. If you feel that you are treated unfairly, we always suggest addressing this upfront - either with your lead or in one of our various feedback forms, for example in our anonymous suggestion box in Leapsome.

Best regards,
Your HR-Team
