Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

for people who want to start career in IT is good company.
For the experienced colleagues with good technical knowledge is "little difficult", because you always get all the tasks.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

The focus on e-commerce project:
1. Do not always say "yes" to customers. You have to check internal resources and skills.
2. The overall quality of the team is good, which is a positive sign for the company.
However, the mixed level of experience among individual developers may present some challenges. As a product owner, it was important to identify areas where developers may need additional support in my team to ensure that everyone is able to contribute effectively to the project.
To have a lot of certificates (google cloud archit, developer and so on), as it is NOT always a reliable indicator of a developer's understanding of a particular area. While certifications can be valuable, it is important to also consider other factors, such as work experience and practical skills.
3. Next point is the test team. In my team I had test manager(s), but no people who were technically proficient. The fact that some developers are expected to do everything, including implementing features and testing their own work and explain test managers what they need to do. Here is the biggest gap in setup of the software team. Suggestion: build the Software test engineer team in the company.

Kommunikation

Although we have weekly meetings where we employees get the information. However, one has the feeling that middle management "runs" in a different direction and far away from company vision.

if the project goes well (what is not the case often), then good, if not, have to look for someone to blame...

I'd like to address your suggestions for improvement:
1. Our leads are working on optimizing resource allocation, but changes in project situations sometimes create challenges. However, we strive to foster the potential of our employees and meet the needs of our clients through our staffing process.
2. We understand that certifications do not fully reflect a person's abilities. We are always working on training juniors and develop them into seniors, but this takes time and requires the support and effort of senior developers.
3. We follow a whole team approach, where everyone on the team is capable of testing. We deliberately chose not to use manual testing, as product quality is the responsibility of the whole team. Our Service Delivery and Quality Managers are responsible for setting up an appropriate strategy to ensure the quality of our products.

It's a shame that we couldn't resolve your concerns during your conversation with relevant parties. Nonetheless, we wish you all the best for your future career path!
