There are many people doing nothing, whit a very limited knowledge. They mostly support eachother though as they work together for many years. Such a behavior should not be tolerated and managers should be replaced if this situation continues.

This is highly dependable on your team and department. In developer teams is somewhat better than in testing department.

If you are coming from Austria, communication is often about things that are not relevant to job, if not, the communication is very bad.

This one is not bad. You have also time for private things.

It's more important to be in good relationship with the superiors than the work itself.
