One of our most recent changes in the sales department is the onboarding of additional colleagues, partially with changed tasks and responsibilities that are suitable for the changed business environment, and to empower our sales employees (and our employees in general) to participate in our business decisions on how to grow our markets and develop our customers. We are pleased to hear that you have a positive experience with the changes we announced earlier in the year and have now come into effect – e.g. our new flexi-time policy, language courses, changes in our salary structure, our work environment, more social gatherings (Autumn Party, Christmas Cookie Baking, …) etc. We will make further adjustments to our organizational structure and portfolio to take into account the changed market conditions, career progressions of our employees and to set the company up for long-term success.
The company is currently in a transformation process, and we understand that it takes time for changes to be fully embraced and we are very optimistic about what the future holds for the company, its employees and customers. This is our clear focus.
Based on your comment we did an additional thorough investigation into the working time records of our employees in the operations department. Your complaint about working hours is not backed up by our data, which suggests that the majority of our employees works a regular ‘8 to 5’ working week and take regular vacation time as well as flexi-time to reenergize and enjoy time with their family and friends.

Regarding communication and town hall meetings: as mentioned in every meeting, we did start do communicate more openly and in-depth a couple of months ago. Openness does not mean blame, this is not our new style. One of our instruments are the so-called Town Hall meetings, which give us the opportunity to talk about the strategic direction of the company, present you with current results, ask you for your insights and feedback as well as develop a mutual understanding about necessary next steps and goals. We started our transformation and alignment a few months ago with a clear direction – change can be seen as frightening and stressful as it directly affects our work processes and ourselves, but it can – and does! – spark motivation, curiosity and a sense of meaning. All employees are welcome to participate in our new journey and contribute with their ideas, open communication and/or questions.
Similar words can describe our current evaluation of premium systems. Our company leaders have been asked by TM’s to re-evaluate their current premium system. Together with all TM´s and HR we are still working on a new system and share updates with all affected employees regularly. As we are committed to open feedback, we are embracing the suggestions made by our TM’s and are holding regular meetings between our company leaders and TM’s to ensure that the new (but not yet decided or implemented) premium system includes all necessary aspects and sets us up for future success. Nothing is set in stone yet, but we already developed a mutual understanding of our goals and will keep talking.
Speaking of – “talking” is something we as a HR department are really committed to; our doors are always open and we are inviting employees to share feedback and approach us with ideas. Just last week we held a workshop with a few groups of our employees, to discuss current job tasks and responsibilities and how the group feels that those need to change. We talked about what we need to start doing, as well as what we need to stop doing. These are just examples of a new working style that we are implementing; open two-way communication, transparency and new working styles will form our new company culture. The provided feedback has been summarized and presented anonymously to the company leaders. This approach guarantees that feedback cannot only be shared individually, but as a group and anonymously as well. We do feel though, we as a HR department can do even more – and we will involve ourselves more in company-wide decision making processes and act as employee advocates going forward. This is a journey.
This leads us to your last major feedback point – employee’s needs with regards to remote office. Our home office policy has been implemented in 2021 and ensures a company-wide standard. Though we recognize that individual employees express the need for extensive, if not 100% remote work, sometimes for a couple of month’s in length at a time, we do feel that this is not in line with our company’s needs as well as a common feeling of fairness and equality amongst our employees. However, we are committed to improving the well-being and work life balance of our employees, and we are excited to see what the future holds.

es tut uns leid auf diesem Wege von deinem Eindruck von uns als Arbeitgeber zu erfahren. Wir haben unmittelbar nach Bekanntwerden deiner Bewertung mit unserem Führungsverantwortlichen sowie der entsprechenden Abteilung diesbezüglich Kontakt aufgenommen und durch die erst kürzlich durchgeführten Halbjahresgespräche sowie regelmässigen Austausch mit unseren Mitarbeiter:innen haben wir dein Feedback evaluiert. Dabei zeigt sich durchgehend, dass unsere Mitarbeiter:innen u.a. in der Finanz- und Controllingabteilung mehr als zufrieden sind mit ihrem Job, von einer guten Teamkultur sprechen und sich darin einig sind, dass wir unsere Prozesse so gut unter Kontrolle haben wie schon sehr lange nicht mehr. Jedoch gibt es wie in jedem Unternehmen Möglichkeiten sich täglich zu verbessern, daher nochmals vielen Dank für die Anregungen.
Vorwürfe zum Thema Mobbing nehmen wir sehr ernst und haben hierzu eine sehr klare Haltung. Jegliches Verhalten, das u.a darauf abzielt Mitarbeiter:innen einzuschüchtern, zu entmutigen oder auszugrenzen, wird von uns nicht geduldet. Hier gibt es bei uns keinerlei Toleranzgrenze - daher solltest du diesbezügliches Verhalten wahrgenommen haben, so bitten wir dich eindringlich uns nähere Details zukommen zu lassen, damit wir diese untersuchen können.
Wir haben in den letzten Monaten sehr große Fortschritte in unserer Unternehmenskultur, Teamspirit und Prozessmanagement erreicht und leben diese positiven Veränderung täglich, daher tut es uns sehr leid, dass du diese positiven Veränderungen in diesem Fachbereich nicht mehr als Kolleg:in miterlebt hast.
Wir legen sehr viel Wert auf einen offenen und regelmässigen Austausch auf allen Ebenen, daher laden dich ein, mit uns Kontakt aufzunehmen um Details zu verstehen und noch weiter an uns arbeiten zu können.

We would like to highlight some changes that we recently introduced. We increased our company communication, besides regular town hall meetings our management team takes the time to hold regular team meetings with various topics, e.g. to explain our strategic direction, budget and target discussions, internal career developments of team members, company autumn party etc.
Besides that, we cannot agree with your feedback regarding work conditions. Our furniture is up to date with standards, our building is nice and shiny and built to sustainable standards. It is very well maintained and has aircon for the hot summer months. We introduced several activities for breaks, e.g. to play ping-pong in the lunch break, enjoy the employee lounge outside or hang out with each other in the common areas in the kitchen or on the balconies. Let us know what you missed, so we can work on it!
