Arbeitsatmosphäre
For a SME it is quite surprising that two full universes exist within the organization. One that is held up for the dreams and fantasies of the management and one which is the reality in which staff are trying to survive. A bit like the Truman Show.
Kommunikation
In between teams that are actively working together there is communication, but that is about it. The management fails at communicating and fails at providing an active platform for communication between teams, which lead to the deterioration of the culture in the company, that was there at some point in the past
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Within teams bonds can be strong, support can be strong. Plenty of qualified people in the various departments, however high turnover makes the bonds weaker. Generally people can rely on each other, but that again is limited to within the department or maximum with departments you work along with
Work-Life-Balance
This depends very much on the perspective. Time wise it is pretty good, also remote work is possible. And if you are just interested in retaining the status quo of your processes and output, it is perfect. If you want to achieve in this company, the aspect of mental frustration can taint the balance.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Lets establish the word nano-management here. Micro would be an understatement. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, decided top down, as previously mentioned in other reviews. The management loves talking about ideas, but only their own. Staff's ideas are never good enough, unless the management themselves have the same idea a year or two later. They also love starting projects and adding goals to the road-map (which has been quite similar since 2016 as the same ideas get recycled again and again), they also like to tell others about their big plans, but they never want to actually implement those. A Fintech trading platform with pretty much two minor product developments in the last five years, is not giving you an impression of an innovative start up. And once ideas are put aside again, they bring another one back from the shelf.

If one ignores the fact that 50% of tasks and research are not getting used and projects are abandoned halfway through, the tasks are interesting.

If one considers the permanent undermining of abilities and ideas that employees face, there is equality.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Age is not a factor. However it seems that people are getting hyped by the management when they are new, but you drop down the order quite quickly if you are too practical or too critical of processes and outputs. Also monetarily there are incomprehensible things happening, where some people get incentives/bonuses and some not, but without any reasoning or notable pattern.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Infrastructure is fine. More or less up to date on tools and hardware, however the management is only partially interested in input from employees when it comes to tools. The office is fine and spacious. Infrastructure around the workplace is good.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
not too active but no major flaws

They like to play games with employees. They get more tasks, but no raise, they get promoted but no raise. Without arguing there will hardly be any moves. Recognition of performance is not existent. They will always point out why you don't deserve more.

The vast majority of the target group do not know (much about) the company. The reputation in the market and among other market players has declined as no big strides have been made. In the public widely unknown and invisible (especially in Austria). Among employees it is a mixed bag. Some enjoy the start up environment, after 11 years, others are just there to wait for opportunities outside or for the management to show them the door.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
almost impossible to get promoted or rebuild teams. Udemy was activated last year. HR did not do more than sending an email with the info, that it is available. Not presentation, no intro session, no budget information from HR.
