Infrastructure, colleagues
No target orientation, no hands on mentality, no trust in their own employees and nano management.
They know what they could do differently, but it is never going to happen.
For a SME it is quite surprising that two full universes exist within the organization. One that is held up for the dreams and fantasies of the management and one which is the reality in which staff are trying to survive. A bit like the Truman Show.
The vast majority of the target group do not know (much about) the company. The reputation in the market and among other market players has declined as no big strides have been made. In the public widely unknown and invisible (especially in Austria). Among employees it is a mixed bag. Some enjoy the start up environment, after 11 years, others are just there to wait for opportunities outside or for the management to show them the door.
This depends very much on the perspective. Time wise it is pretty good, also remote work is possible. And if you are just interested in retaining the status quo of your processes and output, it is perfect. If you want to achieve in this company, the aspect of mental frustration can taint the balance.
almost impossible to get promoted or rebuild teams. Udemy was activated last year. HR did not do more than sending an email with the info, that it is available. Not presentation, no intro session, no budget information from HR.
They like to play games with employees. They get more tasks, but no raise, they get promoted but no raise. Without arguing there will hardly be any moves. Recognition of performance is not existent. They will always point out why you don't deserve more.
not too active but no major flaws
Within teams bonds can be strong, support can be strong. Plenty of qualified people in the various departments, however high turnover makes the bonds weaker. Generally people can rely on each other, but that again is limited to within the department or maximum with departments you work along with
Age is not a factor. However it seems that people are getting hyped by the management when they are new, but you drop down the order quite quickly if you are too practical or too critical of processes and outputs. Also monetarily there are incomprehensible things happening, where some people get incentives/bonuses and some not, but without any reasoning or notable pattern.
Lets establish the word nano-management here. Micro would be an understatement. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, decided top down, as previously mentioned in other reviews. The management loves talking about ideas, but only their own. Staff's ideas are never good enough, unless the management themselves have the same idea a year or two later. They also love starting projects and adding goals to the road-map (which has been quite similar since 2016 as the same ideas get recycled again and again), they also like to tell others about their big plans, but they never want to actually implement those. A Fintech trading platform with pretty much two minor product developments in the last five years, is not giving you an impression of an innovative start up. And once ideas are put aside again, they bring another one back from the shelf.
Infrastructure is fine. More or less up to date on tools and hardware, however the management is only partially interested in input from employees when it comes to tools. The office is fine and spacious. Infrastructure around the workplace is good.
In between teams that are actively working together there is communication, but that is about it. The management fails at communicating and fails at providing an active platform for communication between teams, which lead to the deterioration of the culture in the company, that was there at some point in the past
If one considers the permanent undermining of abilities and ideas that employees face, there is equality.
If one ignores the fact that 50% of tasks and research are not getting used and projects are abandoned halfway through, the tasks are interesting.
Sehr gutes Arbeitsklima!

Aimless leadership, micromanagement, intransparent communication and decision making process, tendency to hire and fire people within a few months, old product, inability to innovate for many years.
Start by trusting the expertise of your employees and acknowledging that they can make better judgments in their respective areas. Micromanaging must be curtailed, as it is a primary reason for stagnation within the organization. Consistency is key; refrain from frequently changing decisions, and commit to seeing them through to fruition.
Generally pretty good and nice colleagues, good working relationship between teams. However, management is lacklaster. Micromanagement is so bad that the leadership has even no time to decide on things that they are micromanaging, resulting in a lot of wasted work.
Use to be one of the very promising Viennese Fintech startups with very innovative product. Now barely anyone has heard about this company and their product simply cannot keep up with increasingly competitive market.
Generally very good. Because decisions from the management changes every 2 weeks, people tend not to take work outside of regular duties very seriously. So, it is pretty relaxing.
non-existing, even if you manage not to get fired.
Generally ok on paper: salary is average. Vesting policy seem to be intransperent and generally not very good. Benefit is good though (massage, yoga, food coupon).
Team members support each other and support other teams. It is probably one of the few reasons the company is still surviving.
Hiring and firing not only affects new recruits but also involves dismissing long-term employees without convincing reasons. Leadership often attributes failures to employees, even though their own inconsistency in decision-making frequently contributes to the issues. Management only trust their own decisions and no decision of employee is ever good enough. As a result, they micromanage everything and fail at "leading".
Overall good, air-con in the office are too loud and needs to be replaced.
Intransparency between leadership and employees causes rumous among employees to run rampant.
Average like most companies in Austria. Though many things in the company are not transparent enough to make a good judgement.
Depending on the team.
This company is there for 11 years and calls itself start up. I dont know if after 11 years you should still be are a start up.
The management is selling some strange unicorn dreams without a real plan how to get there. You get told by colleagues that are there for many years, they are repeating the same ideas for a long time. I think there are no real goals, peoples in teams really dont know what they are actually working on.
It is really hard to understand what other departmens are doing. It seems that marketing keeps the company invisible, but this is likely because their plan is changed by the management every week too. There is no brand presence, people that I told about the company constantly never have heard about it. So the placement is somewhere in a dark corner where nobody sees the content.
The team activities are nice, you can get out in the nature and bond with your team members. Also home office is possible.
They recently got access to an education platform, the only information was an email that there is access. No introduction, no info about budget for courses.
Very average, benefits are good. Strange bonus policy where I heard that randomly people can be excluded.
At first, it is a company with plenty of good people working there. In the teams the environment is mostly good, and plenty of talented people work there.
I heard people are talking behind the back of the management for years. There is never any praise from the management. Decisions are taken only top down. It doesnt matter how small the decision is.
Nice office, hardware is good standard. office management is caring. Some people bring dogs to the office. Most of them are nice but some are disturbing.
The management is changing the tasks and plans every meeting. So whatever task you get in the meeting last week, is not valid anymore because today they want something different. When they hire you, they tell you about some imagination they have about what you should do. When you arrive you do nothing like discussed before. I also think planning in IT is bad at times. One team does not know what the other team is releasing, until after it happens and sometimes it goes wrong.
Lots of projects started and never finished
Kollegen, Start Up spirit
Good atmosphere!
Everything is possible, couple of home-office-days for example.
You can do trainings and you can go on business-events.
Good salary, not many other social benefits.
Young team, not really old people :)
Not the best in my opinion. Too many tasks on too less people.
Old building, offices old, but okay.
Not good enough to work agile. Improvements needed, i.e. Same information for everybody. More 1:1 feedback-talks.
100%
Was an interesting challenge.
Funny people
Attitude
Take the responsibility if you forget or mess up something, because trying to find someone to blame on your mistakes and fire people will not solve the groud problem which is in you.
The most disturbing thing at wikifolio is the obvious cronyism (Freundelwitschaft). Doesn't matter what skill and competency you have-if you know someone here or your tongue is long enough than you are good to go. Hygiene is not top priority, for some reasons people prefer to walk around without shoes and loose clothes in the office as soon it gets warmer, so expect to see and smell a lot of arm-pit and dirty feet. Also, dirty hands and sport clothes are obligatory office wear, gives the utmost pro impression when talking to your colleagues...must have thought someone and since then a lot copy.
For whatever reason some people have the illusion here that they work for some Silicon Valley giant or that they are at least as great talents.. haha.. ha..
This is a company which is the copycat of its biggest competitor. Rather disappointing in the lack of orignal idea, solutions or infrastructure but at least the management is pretty arrogant and like to lose face in meetings. Well, in case they are present in the office, because they manage really well to spend a lot of time on holidays and in 'home office'. Seeing this motivated me also to stay at home too. Some head of's won't take the responsibility for their mistake but will try to put it on their team members.
A lot of blabla about why they can't provide proper details for tasks in time
Outwars yes, inwards no
Yes, you can learn, but it's a fire & hire company
So verdient kununu Geld.
