Home office and lovely office. Interesting work.
This job is great for an ambitious person who wants to challenge themselves, learning how to navigate in a complex matrix environment, with challenging stakeholders, political 'games' and an extremely high workload.
If you have family, friends or hobbies - this job may not be the right fit.
Very high workload causes an extremely high turnover rate. Needs to be addressed.
There is no community as such. Colleagues are all working virtually and since each person works on their own project, there is no interaction, except during the monthly team meetings, where the focus is predominantly on KPIs and financial results.
If you prefer working alone (rather than having any team interaction) -> this job is for you.
Company is well known.
Plus: Depending on the client a Recruiter can work flexibly from home or from the office. Depending on client good IT equipment.
Minus: no flexible work, overtime is not compensated, either in time or money. This would not be a problem if the workload would allow for an 8h day. Unfortunately, Recruiters are completely overloaded. During the interview a max of 25 positions have been promised, the reality is that you will have close to 40 positions to handle and a very demanding client group. This means that you will work very late hours every day and won't be compensated for this.
There are career progression and development opportunities.
There is no team, everyone works on their own projects. Extremely high turnover rate also makes it difficult to get to know people.
Manager sees the problems and tries to support employees. Unfortunately, senior management seems unwilling to listen or to change anything.
Novartis office is very nice. Good IT equipment.
Frequent email communication. The most important things are repeated several times to make sure it's not missed.
Salary would in theory be ok, if there weren't the pay cuts and no communication on when that will stop.
Challenging recruitment activities, you can learn and grow. Novartis is an interesting account with interesting projects.
