Very classic hierarchical, top down communication. Dear colleagues, but partly not completely honest. System has grown like this for decades, inflexible, unoptimized. Sometimes overwork, sometimes boredom. Poor expectation management. No error culture.

Management assumes that overtime will be worked without being asked. Requests for flexibility for private projects, even with good communication, are not appreciated.

The employees among themselves know the shortcomings and therefore stick together strongly. However, the fundamental systemic problems are not addressed by anyone and are tolerated by the superiors.

Russian roulette. Sometimes good-humored and then pleasant in the cooperation. Quickly annoyed, choleric, unfortunately often alarmingly disrespectful. At the crucial point, direct communication is shied away from and the direct conversation in the case of a problem does not take place. Quite old, unchallenged hierarchy.

Above all, there was no clear communication from the management regarding expectations. Mistakes are not tolerated, not even during the training phase. Disrespectful treatment even of the oldest and most trusted employees.
Interessante Aufgaben
For the architects, certainly very exciting, and also a good working relationship in the teams possible. For the administration: no opportunities for further training and promotion, hardly any scope to contribute, boring tasks.
