The topic of having a "buddy" in the onboarding phase is a very good aspect, thank you! We have already received feedback on this from new colleagues in the past. Therefore have introduced the concept of an assigned "buddy" during the onboarding phase at the end of last year. This makes it easier for new colleagues to settle well in the office and to have an official contact person in addition to the particular team lead.
