International teams and mostly exciting tasks

In most teams you can work very independent and balance work-life (if no super important projects are running). Since Corona home office is finally accepted by highest management.

How some people are treated. How jobs are distributed among teams. The reliable get more and more tasks and the quiet people have a nice working day.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The management team should be role models and should really life the values. They should always remember that we are humans and individualists and not like them. BuyIn strength is the diversity. Foster it!
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Depending on the teams. After Corona all teams need to grow together (again). If managers are not interested in and supporting team initiatives, there is simply no team, but lone warrior. Some teams are great!
Kommunikation
There are several great initiatives from the communication team. Management information needs to be improved.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Was great at the beginning, but is shrinking. It is highly dependent on the team atmosphere.
Work-Life-Balance
In times of big projects almost no life but lot of work. But there also times to recharge.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
People dependent. Most of them are nice guys, but some should lead only projects, but not people. Not always fair.
Interessante Aufgaben
Very international and dynamic. Every domain is different, every technology is different. Make sure you get "nice" projects.
Gleichberechtigung
Fantastic in the sense of origin, age and sexual orientation at staff level. Not great when it comes to diversity at management level. We have some women, but mostly on the French side. The German side is so much old fashioned (white men).
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Actually I would say great - we have several older colleagues which are highly respected. But I also heard some rumors about individual cases, which have not been treated nice.
Arbeitsbedingungen
50:50 Home office / office. No small offices anymore, but open space (difficult to concentrate). IT team is doing a great job.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Driven by our mother companies. Smaller initiatives at BuyIn, but no outstanding activities.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
No reason to complain, regular yearly adjustments in line with the mother companies. Newcomers need to be tough to get a salary in line with their responsibility.
Image
Not sure about the image on the market. Management worked hard after the foundation of BuyIn to become a serous player in the market. During last years I fear that BuyIn lost some of its credibility.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Yes there are some very good trainings and our small HR team is working hard to offer development opportunities to the staff. But if there are no positions on management level, you do lose the high performers who wants to grow. Therefore high level of fluctuation, but also several colleagues who are satisfied with their expert position and stable over years.
