What I liked about the employer turned out to be a facade, as he wasn’t even the one who fired me in the end.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I initially joined the company in Business Development, where I delivered strong results and was later transferred to Marketing Communication. For several months, I worked hard and felt like I was making a positive impact. However, my experience took a sudden and disappointing turn.

Out of nowhere, I was called into an unexpected meeting with HR and told I was being let go. The reason given was that they wanted someone who was a native German speaker. This explanation felt questionable, especially since my direct manager attempted to contact me for weeks afterward, unaware of the situation and confused about my absence. It was clear they had been counting on me to continue my work.

What made this even worse was that I had invested in an expensive German course and was working towards another certificate they had encouraged me to obtain. This firing felt abrupt, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable.

I wouldn’t recommend this company due to how poorly they handled this situation. It was one of the most frustrating professional experiences I’ve ever had.

Maybe don’t push employees to sign up for expensive classes, promise them a bright career future, and then fire them without a valid reason.
