Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Going to work at Garden is extremely enjoyable. The team makes this company great. The product and the feedback from the industry gets people excited to be part of something big. The office space is extremely nice, spacious and in a great location.

Communication could be better
Work-Life-Balance
Garden realises that everyone has different life circumstances and tries to cater to those. Are you more productive at night? Do you need to take a personal day every once in a while? Do you have children?
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Very fair salary but not extraordinary compared to other big tech firms. That has more to do with the fact that it's an early stage and the commercial product was only recently launched. It will surely change. There is no intention from leadership to not be competitive and lower salaries are currently compensated with very good stock options.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Social awareness is high but not necessarily environmental awareness. There is a lot of paper and plastic trash and Amazon orders. However, it's not like the awareness isn't there but no processes are put in place to specifically show responsibility.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The team is still quite small but everyone gets along extremely well. This is supported with countless occasions for after-work drinks, company lunches or occasional dinners. No one has to but I would say you're strongly encouraged to be part of an event every now and then.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
So far we don't have "elderly" employees but I would say that loyalty to the company will definitely be rewarded with challenging and exciting projects, fair remuneration and stock options.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
For most of the founders, it's their first own company but leadership is extremely kind, nurturing and laid-back. This might come across a bit unstructured at times but also the need for structure with 8 employees is limited. This will surely change as the company grows.
Kommunikation
Communication could be better. I think it has to do with the fact that it's one big open-space office and people just assume, everyone will hear when relevant things are discussed. The team is aware of this weakness and is trying to improve.

Diversity and inclusivity is one of the core values and is strongly enforced.
