Nice view but no typical architect’s working atmosphere
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Nice working area, view from the office and nice colleagues.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
No flexible working hours, no home office (except during lockdown), no space for employees to eat and warm food
Verbesserungsvorschläge
More respect towards employees. More understanding for parents. More (or at least one) women in leading positions.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It’s a nicely furnished office but without life. People hardly communicate and you feel permanent tensions.
Kommunikation
There is strong hierarchy in terms of communication. As an architect you rarely go to project meetings or design reviews.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The colleagues are all very nice and they like to meet afterwork.
Work-Life-Balance
You have to be in the office by 9:00am at the latest. You don’t have flexible working hours but you are expected to work a lot overtime.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The bosses don’t care a lot about the employees. They give you the feeling being a number that can be quickly exchanged. They also fire people out of the blue.
Interessante Aufgaben
Some projects are really nice but others are not.
Gleichberechtigung
You hardly find women in this office and certainly not in higher positions.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The equipment is out of date and slow. They use Microstation for planning.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
There is always a really nice Christmas party and occasionally there are lunch lectures during the lunch break. You don’t find environmental awareness concerning office supplies.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The salary is slightly above average.
Image
The image seems to be good, because they have nice projects and big clients. The reputation among architects speaks volumes.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
If you stay really long you can climb up the career ladder, but most people leave between 6 and 18 months.
