Toxic management. Would never recommend it
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The office, the views and location
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Atmosphere, how they treat people
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Stop treating people like numbers. Architects are on demand now, it's not like the old days where people had to just take anything ;) you need to offer more
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Colleagues are nice, but you can feel the tension. Everybody feels constantly observed by the bosses... Also, it feels like mistakes are not allowed
Kommunikation
Really bad communication. For example, once the boss came out of nowhere saying there was a presentation in one hour, we prepared everything as fast as we could, and then he blamed us for not having the plans ready for the meeting, when he never told us there was one in the first place
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Nice, they even go for drinks after work. But as I said before, during the working hours, you can't even chat over a cup of coffee or even take a look at a colleague's project
Work-Life-Balance
Depends on the project. They don't pay extra hours, but you could get the hours back if you have a nice project manager. Still, you'll never get them 1:1
Vorgesetztenverhalten
They have fired several people by just sending a letter while they're sick... Do the math.
Interessante Aufgaben
Corporate buildings... It's not bad design, but I also didn't feel like they had a very clear design philosophy, it was just about reaching a certain aesthetics. For constructive details it can be a good place to learn though.
Gleichberechtigung
Ever since my first day I felt a very masculine energy. There are no women in leading positions and apparently the 2 bosses divide who interviews which candidates by gender... I found this very strange and suspicious
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There was a clear division between older and younger employees, I guess also due to hierarchy
Arbeitsbedingungen
If there's something nice to say it's that the office is beautiful with amazing views of the Spree. That said, in summer it's freaking hot and they don't let people bring their own fans or customize their desk in any way. They're no big fans of earphones either, even though it's an open plan office. There's no place for employees to eat, so you have to spend money eating in nearby restaurants everyday... And you're not allowed to use their Wi-Fi connection for your personal cellphone
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary was ok, but I knew of other cases where it really wasn't. I guess it depends on when the negotiation took place and how

It's a well known architecture office in Berlin
