proximity to several public transport options from bus to trains, lots of different options which is fantastic especially during night shifts.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Worst of all was management not opening communication when there was an issue. Don't avoid conflict and just listen to one side of an argument. My contract and those of many others in my short tenure were terminated without as much as an explanation. Legally ok to do in Germany, morally however nowhere. As a manager you have a responsibility even when dissatisfied with an employee to supply the reasons why so they can look to grow and improve themselves going forward. This lets the company down

Lost cause saying anything, too many bad egg who would dismiss it anyways.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
When not micro managed by colleagues on the same level, many with much less Gastro experience, it's fun with the guests. However most days were micro managed.
Kommunikation
Daily chats with the team were had where nothing of any relevance was mentioned, certainly nothing that couldn't have been put on a board for us to read. But when it came to serious feedback, my team manager was nowhere to be found. Rarely on the floor and only had a couple of members he'd talk with.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Some great guys and girls in there, wonderful folk. As with any workplace though it's soured by the minority who use it as a playground, lying and backstabbing (among other things) to progress to higher positions.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
As mentioned above, quality is only said to be important. It's all about pushing as fast as possible.
Gleichberechtigung
There is a strong female presence on the management team which is encouraging. However mgmt as a whole clearly never had any mgmt training or experience in dealing with people, so hard to see this as positive.

If you're over 27 here you're an elder statesman.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
In slogans and mottos protecting the environment is put as the company's number one goal (haha, yeah truly) but the waste of food, packaging, energy, and thrash make a mockery of said slogans.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Minimum wage roles, tips are only ok. Not above average

Some people are certainly happy there, there are people serving tables for years and seem comfortable
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Some people progress, indeed from ground up seems key which is great for people starting off. However more so than in any job it's the folks who "befriend" and mgmt who progress as most managers are not on the floor to see your work in person so they rely on the feedback only of their entrusted allies
