Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The work-life balance and the commitment with green technologies in the energy field, which is such an important topic nowadays. The approachability of colleagues and the willingness to support all team members has also a good impact on the working experience in general.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

I would suggest a few improvement opportunities:
- More transparency about salary ranges of positions, as well as what can the employee expect in terms of career progression. This would potentially help professionals envision themselves for a longer period in the company.
- If the company would like to attract and retain international professionals, I would suggest to use English for internal communications. Although I understand that the company is in Germany and some employees feel more comfortable speaking their native language, it is important to note that, in general, companies that foster diversity, try to accommodate the needs of their diverse talents.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The working atmosphere is in general very welcoming and supportive.

Kommunikation

Some communication was done in German, which in my experience brings a challenge for international professionals to fully understand the context. Although I felt free to ask questions about topics that were unclear, and there were closed captions for meetings, the captions were not always accurate and I believe that it would be great to have this addressed in the future.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

My team had a good cohesion among colleagues. I cannot say if this was the case for the whole company.

Work-Life-Balance

Work-life balance is great. I have experienced a mature culture of asynchronous work, which helps to balance personal appointments and commitments with work.

Interessante Aufgaben

In my personal experience there were more interesting tasks when I first started at Kiwigrid. Since several months before I left the company, I have experienced a drop in the amount of interesting tasks related to my area of expertise. I believe that this was related to the characteristics of customer requirements at the time, but it was challenging to keep the motivation during this time.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Compared with other companies the salary range seems lower. I have also missed some transparency related to career growth and salary/benefits. Because the salary ranges and career paths were not clear, I didn't know if my compensation was in line my colleagues'.

I believe that Kiwigrid has a good company image. From the conversations that I have had, former employees tend to speak good things about their time in the company.

thank you very much for your insights at Kiwigrid.

Firstly, we are delighted to hear about your positive experience at Kiwigrid. You are also referring to our important pillars in the company: on the one hand, the work-life balance and the associated flexible working hours, and on the other hand, our nice collegial atmosphere.

You also mention that our focus on diversity means that we also employ international professionals. In internal communication, we therefore also offer language learning courses via Babbel to promote both our German and English skills and thus break down barriers. In principle, our communication takes place in both languages, but there may be isolated exceptions in everyday life. Company presentations are therefore always written in English in order to appeal to our internationals. You are absolutely right that this needs to be further optimised in the future.

In terms of our salary structure, we build salary levels in such a way that we look at the requirements of the job performed, such as the area of activity, necessary skills and responsibility, educational background, professional experience and the hard and soft skills of our employees in order to generate gradations that are as fair as possible and comparable at the decision-making level.
