Atmosphere is really stressing, even when you say good morning no one would reply or say anything.

The managers are disrespectful, they are not going to reply your emails or answer your questions no matter how much you try!!

Employees divided themselves into groups, and you have no chance to get yourself in any!
I have noticed that they would talk about each other and they even send updates about each other’s to their managers. This makes the workplace unpleasant.

We regret that your time with us didn’t meet your expectations.
We would like to present our perspective on some of the points raised.

First of all - We do not pay anyone for a kununu review. We simply ask for an honest evaluation. Beyond that there is no benefit or similar.

We’ll admit that our work isn’t always a relaxing day in paradise, (whose is?) but because we are serious about putting our people in the forefront, we open doors wherever we can to provide a true work-life balance. We value having one dependable team day a week but otherwise home office days can be individually assigned within the company guidelines. Moreover, there are no core working hours on Fridays, we offer generous flex-time arrangements to balance out intense phases and our company health management provides ever more positive impulses about living and working healthy. 

We are very proud of our loyal colleagues: the average length of service at Kohlbecker is 10 years. We also have many colleagues who have been with the company for 30 years or more.

We pay close attention to equal rights and see each individual as an important part of our diverse team. Our female leaders make up almost 30% of project management. Heading our three locations, we have one female site manager and two female deputy site managers. Anyone (mwd) seeking more responsibility is always welcome to step up.

Since regular communication with management has become easier in the last years for both sides, it’s possible for project teams to meet up weekly, if not daily, as necessary. All colleagues I’ve met at Kohlbecker are exceptionally friendly, helpful and supporting. Our owners and COO are open and approachable, bringing all locations together on Fridays for a touch-base videocall. 180-degree feedback is welcome in our individual annual meetings. One needn’t be shy, the doors are wide open.
