clear comunication, even with so many different nationalities.
The online and offline atmosphere continued to surprise me everyday. Never met so many nice people in the same place before. Extremely positive experience. Everybody is very open to communicate and help others.
A lot of flexibility and consideraton for the workers. Flexible working hours, that you can mostly choose yourself, and option of partially working from home.
Friendly people from the beggining to the end
The supervisor works closely with the workers and is very considerative and kind.
Everybody is very open to communicate and help others. The tasks are given with a lot of detail and good explanation. I have never felt confused or worried.
Very friendly and helpful team.
The events and activities are planned to allow flexible participation.
The team works really well together.
Loads of events support and encourage participation of elderly members.

Most workers are volunteers or interns, so they are unpaid. However, we do feel that our work helps a lot of different people, and is thus fulfilling.
Lisi Brizuela is always kind, supportive, and available.
A lot of afterworks are organized, thus contributing to team bonding and the overall well-being of the volunteers/interns.
We have the possibility to explore a wide range of thematics and to take strong initiatives.
I find the mission and purpose of Leb Bunt existence very important and as an expat I identify with it. Social activities between expats and elderly is a brilliant idea as we tend to spend so much time digitally and connecting with people is crucial for expats to integrate and for elderly to feel less lonely.
I could only recommend people that feel touched by the mission to get involved as volunteers or interns to help grow the organisation. It's rewarding to be part of the community, meet new people, practice German, get to know local elderly (in normal setting it's hard to get in contact with locals alone) and also contribute to the organisation with skills and experience or gain new competences. The best way to start would be to try an activity and see if the environment feels comfortable and suitable for you to start also working/volunteering for Leb Bunt.
You can expect respectful, helpful and motivated people to foster community and social connection.
Respectful, motivated people and open to new initiatives
It seems to me that the image of the organization is great, as both expats and elderly that join the activities are happy with their experiences and recommending it to their friends.
As a volunteer, I have the freedom to choose when to get involved and contribute and when to take a step back to focus on personal things.
I think this experience would be helpful to develop new skills, but also could be added to your CV as work experience. Even if it's volunteering, the projects and challenges are like for real businesses and competence is build in this way.
Helpful colleagues and openness to collaborate. As I'm still new, I'm looking forward to meeting more colleagues and starting new initiatives together.
You are your own manager so to say when you volunteer as you should be a self-starter and see where your help is needed and manage your time properly.
Modern tools used to communicate. As a volunteer, I use my personal tech.
Through the internal channels good information flow and the monthly reports give a great overview of all the things and projects, achievements and initiatives going on in the organization. In future, also more details could be added to the report and quarterly inter departments meetings for updates and to foster collaboration could be helpful to add.
It's unpaid as I'm volunteering.
Definitely interesting tasks as the association is aiming to grow and is open to new projects or strategies. Also, the founder is supportive and happy to hear new ideas and projects. You can be creative or analytical depending on your willingness to get involved. It's a great environment to learn and test new skills to see if that is something you would do in your career.
I work as an activity ambassador. It is a nice place to work with so collaborative colleagues from all over the world. Even if you are new in germany and with a little knowledge of German Language, you could speak English as well, but they are open every time to help you talking German. Also great opportunity to improve the german with native speaker, make connections and find your second home in germany.I highly recommend to join as an volunteer or as participant in different events.
Working as an activity ambassador is fun and also meaningful. You give something back to the community and elderly people, learn something new, connect with people from different countries and support each other. I am happy to be part of the Leb Bunt team and can highly recommend the organization to people who want to contribute to the community and to have a purposeful work.
The working environment is fully respectful.
The work itself brings a sense of fulfillment. Quite meaningful.
International working environment. Fully respectful. Even if German not your first language is okay.
Age between 25-35
The Manager show fully respect.
Flat hierarchy as a start-up. Your opinions do count. The communication takes time because it is online.
Only if you stay long, like years, you get repeated tasks. Otherwise, the tasks are constantly changing, which makes the job interesting.
The company's commitment to fostering a positive work-life balance was evident throughout my internship.
My colleagues were always approachable and willing to offer guidance whenever I needed it. Their expertise and willingness to share their knowledge significantly enhanced my learning experience and helped me overcome any challenges I encountered.
I had the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities, gaining a diverse skill set.
The organization's dedication to creating intergenerational and intercultural connections is inspiring. Through their efforts, expats and the elderly come together to learn from one another, share experiences, and build a strong sense of community. The team is passionate, welcoming, and truly committed to making a positive impact. I feel privileged to be a part of this initiative and witness the transformative power of these interactions. If you're looking for a meaningful internship opportunity or want to support an organization that promotes inclusivity and understanding, I highly recommend getting involved with Das Hallo Projekt.
