They need to decide on validity of the role before taking candidate through entire recruitment process.
The company should value its applicants. Their manners are rude, abrupt, they are never prepared for the interviews themselves. the interviewers did not even greet me in the end, even when we were face to face. Unacceptable. No work life balance at all.
Good thing first: the recruiter was extremely reliable and a pleasure to interact with.
However, generally: please be more precise in your job descriptions. If you are looking for a Hunter/Channel Sales Professional, you shouldn't advertise it as a partner management position.
Worst part, clearly: I'm not buying your Directors confrontative stance, at all. Even if the position was a fit, I would have avoided working for/with somebody who uses every opportunity to interpret my statements in the least favorable manner ("so you're saying marketing is stupid?", "why are you changing companies so often?") That left me with an extremely bad aftertaste and I'm grateful we agreed to not follow this up.
