Be warned of this Porsche subsidiary in Prague!
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The Porsche Brand. The beautiful city of Prague.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The top management. The mobbing behavior.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Taking employees complaints seriously would be a good start. Then taking action. Not everything can be solved with expensive, theoretical workshops.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
In one statement “highly destructive!”. Social exclusion, insults and yelling in front of others.
A despicable highlight during my time was the open display of the outlook calendar of an employee in a teams chat open to the whole company together with a pejorative allusion that this looks like somebody who is just lazy.
It is an inherent part of the company culture that things like that are NOT brought up and worked out, neither an apology is done. No, incidents like that are ignored and the “game” continues.
Kommunikation
This heavily depends on who you are in the hierarchy. If you could be “useful” for a later career-step people will happily communicate and even help you.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Backstabbing happens here a lot among employees.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Superiors who actively gossip about their own team members or purposefully ignoring, avoiding, or not paying attention to someone.
Gleichberechtigung
This also heavily depends on who you are in the Porsche hierarchy.
Arbeitsbedingungen
It is so frumpy to give employees 4 days home office during a global pandemic. What a joke!
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Employees make sure to look flashy in company cars.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary is very good considering the average in Czech is 1300€. Maybe this is the reason why people are so over protective about their relevance.
Image
Without any doubt the image of the Porsche brand is extraordinary. The image of this subsidiary is not.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I don't think you can/want to make a career here.
