Enjoyable with a variety of assignments and great teamwork

I've enjoyed my overall experience at QR. I particularly like the balance between teamwork and self-sufficiency. I also like feeling that my work was helping QR and that it was necessary.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
I think that finding a way to reduce employee stress would make the experience of working at QR better. There is a lot for each person to do and it sometimes gets to be too much. When this happens, colleagues can be short with one another. I think that employing more people would fix this problem quite a bit, which is already in progress.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The overall atmosphere is open and enjoyable. The office set-up is divided into rooms based on position and task, so not everyone is together in the same room but no one is alone. This keeps the office relatively quiet, making it easy to concentrate. When working on projects, colleagues sometimes congregate in a single area, so there is some intermingling of people and task areas.
Kommunikation
Every day, all QR colleagues eat lunch together and, afterwards, the entire team shares updates about what is being worked on. You also often hear colleagues talking about projects over the phone or in person. The office culture is very open and communicative.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
There is quite a bit of teamwork at QR. The meals, meetings, and evenings spent together in the office on Fridays build cohesiveness. I've worked at firms that tried to build the cohesiveness that QR has but were unable to. There's an easy-going but focused attitude among colleagues that makes working together productive but still enjoyable.
Work-Life-Balance
Overall, the work-life balance at QR is good. It doesn't seem like my colleagues take work home and they are able to take time off of work; this was surprising to me, coming from the US. However, some of my colleagues stay late to work on assignments.

The management at QR is very kind. They are patient, willing to answer questions, and interact frequently with employees.
Interessante Aufgaben
I enjoy most all of the assignments I have at QR. As I'm staying for a short amount of time, I am able to get an overview of my colleagues' jobs. However, as an intern, there are still some assignments for the upkeep of the office that aren't applicable to my area of study.
Gleichberechtigung
When I first started at QR, the office was made up mostly of women. It has changed somewhat to be more balanced, but gender doesn't seem to pose a problem for anyone.

There is a pretty wide array of ages at QR. The company has an overall young atmosphere, however.

The working conditions are good. The office is tidy, and drinks and snacks are provided.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
My stay at QR is not very long and it's part of a student program, so I did not receive or need benefits beyond pay. The pay was good, however.

I think that QR projects a very good image. With QR's targeting of higher end hotels, it is necessary for QR to be high-end itself.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I am completing this internship as part of my undergraduate studies. I think that this experience will help me more than some of my classes have. I enjoy the hands-on experience I'm gaining, particularly in learning how to work in an office setting.
